Tour of BTS ARMY Guide

Hello, and welcome to BTS ARMY Guide!

First-introductions. We are a BTS ARMY run website stationed on btsarmy.guide with accounts on Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, and Google+ as well. Not familiar with BTS yet? – it would probably be helpful to visit our introduction to BTS.

BTS ARMY Guide is not run by one person or a few people. We are still quite new, but we hope “BTS ARMY Guide” will eventually represent the community found here and not just the admins. In that way, we would hesitate to call ourselves a “fanbase” in the traditional sense. We want the site to become a safe tool or platform, used to promote diverse voices within the fandom. We wish to guide the information in the fandom, via fanbases, between different social media platforms or other means, more efficient. We understand how tasking it can be to keep up with everything in addition to everything else in our own lives. Basically, we hope to improve the overall fandom experience by decreasing confusion, whether it be in important discussions or the exchange of streaming info.

Let’s move on and introduce some of the features on the site. First, we will go over the organization and navigation of the site. We will refer to two types of posts – articles and forum topics. Articles can only be approved by staff members. However, anyone can comment on articles. They are the posts found everywhere except on the forums. Forum topics, or forum threads, are posts that any registered member can make in the Forums.

  • Home – The homepage of the site, which displays the latest posted articles from all categories, as well as a link to this guide.
  • About BTS
  • BTS Content
    • Official BTS Accounts – Links to all official BTS accounts.
    • Calendar – Our site calendar, which includes all known public BTS events, such as performances and album releases, as well as voting periods.
    • Official Game – Information about BTS’s official game.
    • Content Index – Links to indexes of BTS’s content.
    • Fact Checking of Rumors – Articles about getting to the bottom of rumors about BTS. Note that this only includes rumors that directly effect BTS and not issues between ARMY.
  • ARMY Content
    • To Do List – Articles that include tutorials and information on voting, streaming, buying, requesting, and other ways ARMY can help BTS.
    • Projects – Articles about some of the various projects within ARMY.
    • Featured Fan Content – Articles to promote fan content.
    • Analysis and Theories – Articles about BTS theories.
    • Discussion – Opinion piece articles that bring up relevant, mature discussion in ARMY.
    • Learning Korean – A beginner’s guide to learning Korean.
  • Forums – The sites forums, which can be used by any member to post introductions, questions, theories, discussions, suggestions, and much more!
  • About Us
    • Site Rules – An overview of the site rules. Please read before posting anything!
    • Our Mission – A short statement on the overall goals of the site.
    • Contact Us – Forums for privately contacting us with suggestions, questions, comments, or reports.

With the exception of the home and forums’ menu, clicking the main level menu items (ex. BTS Content, ARMY Content, etc.) will send you to a page which contains every article tagged with that tag.

We suggest start with reading through the sections of “About BTS” first if you are unfamiliar with them or a new fan, as well as getting acquainted with their official accounts and game.

The content index can be useful for new and old fans alike when trying to navigate through the plethora of BTS content. The calendar is a useful guide for keeping up to date with events. All articles under ARMY content would be suggested reading material for older  (experienced?) ARMYs.

We would also like to suggest commenting on any articles or posting on the forums with any thoughts you have, just please read our rules first. We highly encourage interaction and feedback as it is the main purpose of this site and shows us how we can improve. If you would like to never miss a site update, scroll down to the bottom of the page and enter your email.

Thank you for taking the time to read this and getting to know us better! We hope you are able to feel comfortable and at home expressing your thoughts here.
